Inside Big Bad Wolf’s return: Late nights, big bargains, endless books.

Inside Big Bad Wolf’s return: Late nights, big bargains, endless books.

IF your idea of a good time involves wandering through endless stacks of books long past bedtime, Big Bad Wolf Books is once again making a strong case for cancelled plans and overstuffed tote bags.

The world’s biggest book sale returns to the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre from Dec 19, 2025, to Jan 4, 2026, running daily from 10am to 2am - a timetable that quietly acknowledges how dangerous “just browsing” can be.

Known for its riot of colours and even louder bargains, Big Bad Wolf promises millions of books at what it cheerfully calls ridiculous prices, with discounts of up to 95 per cent.

Entry is free and prices start from as low as RM1, making it one of the most accessible book events in the country.

Fans of fantasy will also be pleased to know that selected titles from the Harry Potter series are available from RM19.99, a rare sight in today’s book market and a major draw for parents and nostalgic adults alike.

Big Bad Wolf co-founder Jacqueline Ng said the sale has always been driven by a simple mission: making books affordable and accessible to everyone.

“Our mission is to bring affordable, accessible books to communities.

“No child should grow up without books simply because they are too expensive. That is why the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is so important to me, it helps parents get books for their children at prices they can truly afford,” she said.
